Description and Application

SUPREME FUSE PC is used for igniting No. 8 demolition capsules and providing a certain delay time for military operations. It is an ignition element with a core containing gunpowder, woven with jute thread, coated with bitumen, and has an outer shell made of flexible, waterproof PVC material.

Usage Recommendations

SUPREME FUSE PC is placed directly into a No. 8 demolition capsule and pressed using a capsule crimping tool to prepare it. It is not recommended to assemble it in any other way except using a brass capsule crimping tool. The fuse ends must be kept away from oil and moisture. Connections should be made at least 10 cm away from the open end of the fuse. No knots should form on the fuse. A special fuse igniting lighter should be used to ignite the fuse. Since it burns at about 110 seconds per meter, it should be used with the appropriate length, based on the required escape time. Keep away from fire sources. Do not smoke while using it.

Storage

Explosive materials should be stored under the regulation of “Regulation on the Procedures and Principles Regarding the Hunting Materials and Similar Explosives Exempted from the Monopoly”, decision number 87/12028. For best results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosive material storage facility, at moderate temperatures, and in dry conditions. If stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated explosive storage facility, the shelf life of SUPREME FUSE PC is 3 years from the production date. However, exposure to extreme heat or cold weather conditions may cause the product to deteriorate prematurely.
