Description and Application

SUPREMEDET’S COMBIDET, SUPREMEDET STL, and SUPREMEDET DTH capsules are a dual-delay combined product resulting from the production of these capsules together. This combination allows for the storage of one product instead of two and facilitates easier inventory management. This product, which is extremely easy to use, is produced in various delay combinations and tube lengths according to the user’s preference. Due to fewer connections required, the connection of blast patterns with dual-delay capsules is faster. Visual inspections at the blasting site are easier. It is used as a hole-in capsule for all types of surface explosions (road construction, mining and quarries, dams, foundation excavations, etc.). It is not affected by water environments, harsh weather conditions, radio waves, or static electricity, providing a safer use. The delay of both capsules can be produced according to the needs as required.

Usage Recommendations

SUPREMEDET’S COMBIDET non-electric capsules can be fired with electric capsules, SUPREMEDET’S STL surface capsules, or a minimum of 5 gr/m detonating fuse. The connections should not be too tight or too loose. During filling and firing, the shock tube should be handled in a way that does not damage it. As there is explosive material in the capsule head, it can explode uncontrollably due to impact, friction, and high heat. One SUPREMEDET’S COMBIDET capsule should be used for each hole.

Storage

Explosive materials should be stored in accordance with the “Regulation on Explosives and Similar Articles Not Under the Monopoly, Regarding Hunting Materials” numbered 87/12028. For best results, store in a well-ventilated, approved explosive storage facility under moderate temperatures and dry conditions. If stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated explosive storage, SUPREMEDET’S COMBIDET has a shelf life of 2 years from the production date. However, exposure to extreme hot or cold weather conditions may cause the product to deteriorate prematurely.
